Regardless of your experience with Data Science, there is a place for you at DataSC! We have a ground up curriculum that will walk you through setup, theory, and application.

Moreover, while the framework for a complete beginner exists, members aren't restricted by it and our curriculum has taken into account the different levels of experience members will have when joining.

If you're feeling confident in your abilities then projects are an avenue in which you can try your hand at applying your knowledge!

Members can take part in projects either as a Project Lead or a Project Member. Project Leads are any members that have pitched an idea they feel worth pursuing Project Members are any members of the club that are willing to contribute to a project of their choosing and is a great way to bridge the gap between too much learning, not enough doing and too much doing, not enough understanding! There are no hard and fast restrictions and members have the freedom to decide on what and how things can be approached!

Events and Workshops

We aim to host speaker sessions and panel events with industry leaders like NVIDIA, Microsoft, Google, and Meta; and will provide career support through things such as interview workshops, headshot taking, and networking formation and support.

Socials

Despite CS and Math major stereotypes, we plan to host actually fun social events that don't feel like management has asked us to plan a team bonding exercise
